Today's Shot of Purple

My mom offered to send me a picture of the bruise on her leg post-op. She said it's really purple! Thanks for your kind thoughts and prayers. She's home from the hospital and promises to be good about doing her exercises and following doctor's orders. I told her, in the interest of not making people sick, that we'd pass on the Project Spectrum bruise. So here's a purple definition for you from Wikipedia: On a chromaticity diagram, When the straight line connecting the extreme spectral colors (red and violet), is known as the line of purples (or purple boundary); it represents one limit of human color perception. The color magenta used in the CMYK printing process is on the line of purples, but most people associate the term "purple" with a somewhat bluer shade. There is some common confusion between the color names purple and violet, but only purple can come in haze. Blah, blah, blah, Ginger, blah, blah, blah. And the song for today?
